Summer Art Camp For Kids

Students enroll in camp for the grade they will enter in the Fall of 2024

The Artsy Backyard Summer Art Camp 2024 is here! Whether your child is entering 3rd grade or heading into 7th grade, we’ve got an awesome summer lined up for them.

We’re shaking things up this year with seven brand-new themes weeks! Each week is different, so even if your child has been to our camp before, they’re in for a whole new exciting adventure.

Daily Schedule: 3rd-7th Grade

Monday to Friday, 9:30AM- 1:30PM

• 9:30 AM - 9:45 AM: Arrival, morning welcome & warm up activity

• 9:45 AM - 11:00 AM: Art project 1

• 11:00 AM - 11:15 AM: Snack break

• 11:15 AM - 12:45 PM: Continue or Art project 2

• 12:45 PM - 1:15 PM: Lunch break & Creative indoor art games

• 1:15 PM - 1:30 PM: Wrap-up, clean-up, and dismissal

The daily schedule might change, but that’s part of the fun and ensuring the best experience for our campers.

Please note that we are unable to accept drop-in registrations for individual days or partial weeks at this time. Check back with us a few days before the start of each week to see if there are any available spots for your child.

This Young Artist Creative Art camp focuses on creative and fun projects while helping develop fine motor skills, following directions and gaining confidence. Campers will create different art projects while exploring their creativity using a variety of materials and techniques such as acrylic paints, watercolor paints, pastels, colored pencils, collaging, paper craft, recycled objects, found objects, patterns, dry air clay and more.

Daily schedule: K-2nd grade

Tuesday to Thursday, 10:00AM- 1:00PM

• 10:00 AM - 10:15 AM: Arrival, morning welcome & warm up activity

• 10:15 AM - 11:00 AM: Art project 1

• 11:00 AM - 11:15 AM: Snack break

• 11:15 AM - 12:00 PM: Continue or Art project 2

• 12:00 PM - 12:20 PM: Lunch break & Creative indoor art games

• 12:20 PM - 1:00 PM: Collaborative projects, Wrap-up, clean-up, and dismissal

Looking for a personalized art experience for your group of young creators? Our studio offers the option of hosting a private art camp at our studio, tailored just for you! Our private art camp option is available all summer long, not just during our seven-week scheduled sessions.

You may cancel up to 21 days before the scheduled camp start date that you signed up for. You will receive a refund, minus the $200 non-refundable deposit. ($150 refund for K-2nd)

No credit or refunds will be provided if you cancel within 21 days of your camp start day.

Campers are able to transfer to a different camp week for a $50 fee until 14 days of the start day, if a spot is available.

In the event that we will have less than 4 participants for a specific week, The Artsy Backyard will cancel that week due to low enrollment. We will notify you at least 14 days before the start of that week, and will issue you a full refund.
