The Artsy Backyard Policies
Our Terms: By signing up for a class or workshop or attending a function at our property, you agree to the terms and conditions stated herein. You do hereby release The Artsy Backyard or any person or persons acting on its behalf from liability for any bodily injuries sustained, or for loss or damage of any personal articles while on the premises or while participating in any activity sponsored by The Artsy Backyard. Furthermore, the undersigned agrees that in the event medical attention is required due to accident or illness, The Artsy Backyard shall, without accepting fiscal responsibility, seek such medical services as it deems necessary and appropriate through EMS/911 and/or local hospitals.
Media Release: I hereby allow The Artsy Backyard to take photographs of me or my enrolled child/children to be used for promotional and archival purposes only. If you wish to opt out, please make the instructor aware of that prior to the start of class.
Allergies: For students and attendees under the age of 18: it is the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian of the underage student to inform staff of any allergies or other medical conditions. We provide snacks at many of our events, classes, and workshops. If you or your underage student have an allergy you are responsible for informing your instructor and/or facilitator prior to attending an event.
Class / Workshop Etiquette: All scheduled classes and workshops start and end on time. Please be prompt in your arrival and departure, as we often have other classes starting after yours. Arriving 30 minutes late to a class counts as a no-show, and no make up class will be offered. Teachers are subject to change.
Refund policy: The Artsy Backyard reserves the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment or unforeseen teacher conflicts. If a class is cancelled a full refund will be issued.
Cancellation Policy: You may cancel a class for a full refund 21 days in advance of class/workshop start date. Cancellations made within 14 days of the class can be applied as a credit towards another class. Cancellations made within 7 days of the class are non-refundable. This applies to all workshops and classes.
All purchases of 5 and 10 packs of classes are non-refundable and must be used within the time frame stated at purchase.
Due to the complexity of scheduling and planning, we are not able to offer refunds for Series classes/workshops. Please feel free to email us and tell us your conflict and we will try our best to figure out a solution!
Workshops were developed for the purpose of creating an inviting space for students to practice different mediums, at an affordable cost! Taught by our team members, Workshops are to cultivate your creative community and explore different mediums in a supportive environment.
